In 1992 I did an 8-day trek in the spring, with Terre d'Aventure, in the High Atlas, leaving from Marrakech.
These were unforgettable moments. We passed Berber villages, men, and children. We slept in tents and washed in the river that we sometimes walked alongside.
I wanted to paint this man and this child, and a village, from my photos.
A village built of earth in the hollow of the mountain range. The colors are orange, with almond-green shrubs in the foreground. It's a splendid discovery at the bend in the road.
