In 1992 I did an 8-day trek in the spring, with Terre d'Aventure, in the High Atlas Mountains starting from Marrakech.
These were unforgettable moments. We passed through Berber villages, men and children. We slept in tents and washed in the river that we sometimes walked alongside.
I wanted to paint this man and child, and a village, based on my photos.
An earthen village nestled in the heart of the mountains. The colors are orange, with almond-green shrubs in the foreground. It's a splendid discovery around a bend in the path.
