Artistic approach

Born in Athens in 1994, and deeply attached to the island of Serifos, Tereza Palaiologou develops a sensitive photographic approach, at the crossroads of architecture and portraiture.

After initial university studies in political science and human resources, she chose to pursue her artistic vocation by training in photography in Athens. Her path first led her to the world of theatre, where she created portraits of actors and dancers, refining her eye for the body, movement and presence.

Her experience in architectural photography marked a decisive turning point. She developed a vision where technical rigor serves a poetic exploration. Spaces are no longer mere structures: they become places inhabited by light, silence, lines, and invisible breaths.

For her, photographing architecture is about revealing the soul of a place. Each image seeks a balance between geometry and emotion, between matter and atmosphere. Light plays a central role, sculpting volumes and creating a subtle dialogue between emptiness and presence.

His work is part of an exploration of the relationships between humans and space, between the built environment and the sensory experience, offering the viewer an experience that is both aesthetic and introspective.

Choices of Prints & Adhesive Materials

1. Single Print (fine art) HAHNEMUHLE PEARL 310 gsm SATINE
More info: Papers of special specifications, acid-free, with cotton fibers and
particular surfaces. Printed with EPSON inks of UltraChrome K3 with Vivid
Magenta, and Ultra Chrome HDR. Both offer excellent longevity. Print permanence
characteristics providing lightfastness ratings from 80 years for the color prints to
100 years for the black and white.
2. Stretched Canvas
A specialized medium for fine art and photographic printing. It features a dedicated
coating on the printable surface, allowing inks to produce a true photographic
rendering with exceptional clarity, detail, and color accuracy.
The material is 100% cotton, with no plastic additives, ensuring long-term stability
and preventing polymerization or degradation over time. It is naturally waterresistant.
After printing, the surface is treated with a water-based protective varnish that
enhances color vibrancy, increases contrast and depth in the blacks, and provides
protection against UV radiation and scratches. This treatment makes the artwork
fully waterproof and ensures long-lasting durability and archival permanence.
The finished print is then stretched on a custom wooden frame, with a thickness
of 2 or 3 cm. For large-scale formats, additional vertical support bars are
incorporated into the frame to prevent warping or deformation over time.
3. Dibond
High quality material for photographic presentations. Its width of 3mm makes it
virtually invisible and totally rigid.
In its back side we place rods to help hanging, 2 or 4 according to size, which also
distance the photo from the wall for 1cm.
The lamination of the photograph adds further protection against scratches,
scuffing and finger prints, while it becomes waterproof.
4. Liquid Plexiglass
A unique product that delivers an unprecedented, high-aesthetic result. Suitable for
high-resolution files with fine detail and deep colors. Despite being only a few
millimeters thick, the final result offers such depth that it makes the print appear
three-dimensional. It is completely resistant to time, water, and solar radiation. A
major advantage is its low weight, which makes application possible even in very
large formats.
