Bio Patrick Fuvel

I am a self-taught painter, designer and visual artist born in 1958 , a watercolourist at heart - but also a former comic strip artist of the Métal Hurlant generation.

I met Dario Perez Flores in 1982, which was the starting point for advanced research in optical art using projected light (Expo at the Grand Palais in 1987) to go beyond the way “ classic ” that had occupied me throughout my youth.

I have been a full-time professional painter since 2014 and a member of the Maison des Artistes. I exhibit a lot, but mostly in France.

Among my notable exhibitions we will remember:

The Bois Colombes exhibition in 2015 – First prize for painting

The summer season at the Château de Villandry in 2017 with around fifty works exhibited for a major retrospective

The SMART in Aix en Provence
