Andisheh Moghtaderpour

Her work is rooted in an introspective and travel-oriented approach. Between the Iran of her childhood, and the lights of Cambodia, Colombia, Cameroon, South Africa, and Madagascar, her creations are imbued with textures, emotions, and fragments of the world. Since 2008, she has lived and worked in Geneva, Switzerland—a point of anchorage where intimate memory and universal dialogue intersect.

Andisheh paints to express what cannot be said otherwise. Her art explores boundaries—those of the body, geography, identity—but also the invisible connections between beings. Through compositions imbued with poetry, she invites a form of visual meditation on resilience, femininity, the quest for meaning, and the legacy of the places we travel. It is an art that is lived as much as it is viewed, inhabited by the light of the sensitive and the depth of commitment.

Since 1995, her work has been exhibited in numerous group and solo exhibitions internationally. She is now recognized by several institutions:

In 2023, she received several international distinctions and awards, affirming the universal reach of her artistic expression.

Andisheh Moghtaderpour is also the co-author of the book “ Art Without Borders – Impactful Women Artists ” , a publication celebrating the impact of women artists around the world.
