Isabelle Panélas-Huard presentation

Isabelle Panélas - Huard began her artistic career in 1999, after working as a psychotherapist. At the beginning, she remained close to the human and sculpted nudes in an academic style. But she quickly felt the need to develop her artistic research towards a more personal style.

Her travels inspire her. A desire to express something more instinctive, something more animal in man, becomes obvious to our artist. She evolves her art towards the animal form in an artistic research combining spontaneity with aesthetics. Thus, the refined forms of her beginnings give way to a powerful, unrestrained expression, where the artist's work is visible.

Making a point of learning, our artist strives to know and master all the steps that lead from imaginary representation to bronze. Thus, for a long time, she made her molds, traced her chiseling, and executed her own patinas. For each animal, she was able to find a completely characteristic writing. Her polychrome patinas remain her trademark. And in 2014, she even developed a new technique, combining the art of stained glass with bronze.

Throughout his career, our artist exhibits in prestigious locations such as the Château de Gilly and the Domaine de Rochevilaine .

Her art is recognized and rewarded as she receives the Prize of the National Society of Fine Arts of Paris , the Gold Medal to French Artists at the Grand Palais , the Vermeille Medal at the Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres , and even the TAYLOR Foundation Prize .

She also participated in the creation of various bronze trophies for associations (such as that for research into epilepsy, that for training dogs for the visually impaired, and that for supporting autistic patients).
Her works are regularly found at major Parisian exhibitions such as the Musée de la Marine , the Carrousel du Louvre and the Grand Palais . They can be found in various galleries in France, at Drouot as well as abroad, notably at major events such as Index Dubai, an international fair where she was part of the French pavilion.
