About my artistic approach

“I am a painter of patterns, inspired by the landscape.”
Whether observed or imagined, the landscape is at the heart of my work. It all begins with the search for a subject, an almost mystical quest, where the call of the intimate guides my choice. Why does one place inspire me and another remain silent? This mysterious alchemy results from infinite layers of memories, sensations, and culture, leading to a certainty: this is where I must paint.

To create, I seek to look without seeing , to feel without looking , leaving room for an instinctive approach. The more I put aside strategies and "infallible recipes", the more I venture into a sincere and authentic experience. This process allows me to fully explore what I feel, or at least, what I think I feel, to give life to works that vibrate with emotion and truth.
