In “Boy on Horse,” the artist reinvents the traditional motif of the equestrian statue with a contemporary, subversive twist. A young boy, whose youthful, expressive face contrasts with his conquering pose, stands proudly atop a sturdy horse. The paint, in shades of gray and black, appears to drip, giving the impression of a work that is both solid and ephemeral, frozen in time but melting before our eyes.

The dark, minimalist background, adorned with letters that seem to float in space, creates a sense of mystery and timelessness.
